The fan coil uses water as medium and can be used both for heating and cooling. By circulating the air around the heat exchanger, the heat transfer to the air increases dramatically. For heating purposes this means that the water temperature in the heating system can be lowered quite much and keep the desired room temperature. Lower water temperature also increases the efficiency of the heating system.
One fan coil can often replace two or three radiators output in a heating system! This because air conducts heat very poorly, which means radiators often demand high water temperature to be able to transfer or radiate enough heat to the surrounding air. The fan coils have a built-in electronic thermostat, which enables each room to be controlled individually. The fan coil is operated from a touch panel on the unit’s top right side.
The following functions are available and can be adjusted:
- Heating, cooling, dehumidifying and air circulation mode
- Timer operation
- Night mode / silent working
- Fan speed
- Room temperature setting Automatic keylock activates after 10 seconds without operation.
